Michael van Gerwen remains the heavy favourite for this year's Premier League title, having now been cut to 11/10 to claim his 7th Premier League crown. The world number two is unbeaten in three weeks of Premier League action, defeating Michael Smith in a repeat of the World Championship final last Thursday in Liverpool to keep his unbeaten streak in tact. Having won in Dublin, Exeter and Liverpool, the Green Machine will be looking to keep that run going in Nottingham this week.
With the top four qualifying for the play-offs at the 02 Arena in May, both Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price are handily placed and remain 3/1 and 5/1 respectively. The reigning world champion suffered a hand injury in a recent European tour event and may need to take time out in the near future in order for that to heal.
Peter Wright picked up his first points of the season in Liverpool last week, but having failed to find the form that has taken him to two World Championships, Snakebite is as long as 16/1 with some bookies. The Scot will certainly need an upturn in form if he is to reach the play offs.
