After a stunning start to the Premier League darts campaign on Thursday, we return for week two in a couple of days’ time. Darting golden girl, ‘The Queen of the Palace’ Fallon Sherrock will be the headline star as she takes to the big stage once again after her exploits at the PDC World Championships.

The Milton Keynes star defeated Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic during a run at the Alexandra Palace and will now take on Premier League new boy Glen Durrant in Nottingham.

‘Duzza’ got his campaign off to a winning start as he defeated Michael Smith in Aberdeen, hitting seven out of his nine shots at double. Sherrock is around 6/1 to defeat the three-time BDO World Champion, extremely generous considering her exploits over the Christmas period.

Elsewhere, newly crowned World Champion Peter Wright takes on World Cup teammate Gary Anderson as he looks to get back on track after a defeat to Michael van Gerwen in week one.

The aforementioned van Gerwen faces Northern Ireland’s Darryl Gurney, who was unfortunate to not claim any reward for a solid performance against Anderson in the Aberdeen.

MvG is still the overwhelming favourite for the tournament at evens, while Peter Wright comes in at around 6/1. Elsewhere, there is value in former UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall, who is priced at 16/1 despite a promising start to the season.
